“I have built 4 x She Sheds altogether, 1 at our home as a garden shed and 3 at Onepoto Bay. It’s a very isolated bay on the east cape, the surfing is great and so is the fishing.

We have set the 3 sheds up as chalets. They are large enough to have a table and beds we have stained the floors and painted the inside white, the outside is black with white trim around the windows and doors.

“What I like about She Sheds is they often don’t require a building permit. We have built decks in front of each shed and they are all interlinked together. All the locals love them, they are easy to erect and paint (3 days), they will fit on a tandem trailer so I can take them as a flat pack to a remote location, no need to get a tradesmen and all the cost that goes with that.
