Based in the beautiful city of Palmerston North, New Zealand – Sally has set out to make a creative abode for her sewing crafts in the back yard – and she has done an amazing job! Sally finished her cabin off with a wonderful green finish on the exterior – a perfect match for her garden. To add a bit of character, she has planted some trees around the sides and added a timber patio later on to the entrance. We love the addition of the weather vane on the apex of the roof too!

The interior is where Sally’s craft and creativity shines. She has painted it all white and has even installed her own curtains!

Sally added an extra top hung window to her SheShed, which was a great decision as there is plenty of natural light in her sewing room now, and she can enjoy beautiful views out to her garden while she works away. The installation of power points are quite important for what she does, and she has made great use of the space with a couple of sets of wooden drawers, a work desk and even an inspiration board! The added touch of the spinning wheel is just fabulous – we can see that Sally is a very busy lady in her sewing room!
