If you’ve bene wondering the same, you’re in the right place! Every SheShed is designed to be DIY-friendly and ready to assemble, so whether you’re after a home office, creative space, a space for guests or a cosy retreat, you’ll have everything you need to bring your dream space to life.
The essentials: What is included in every SheShed kit
No matter the style or size, every SheShed flatpack timber cabin comes with all the core building materials to get you started:
- High quality timber: Every SheShed is made from premium non-toxic kiln dried Nordic spruce that is sustainability sourced. Some components such as the floor beams and joists are pressure treated a H3.2 level for extra durability.
- Roofing options: Depending on your cabin, you will receive either asphalt shingle roofing riles or steel roofing. Both options are durable and DIY friendly. Some kits also include roof insulation blankets for extra comfort.
- Hardware and components: Every cabins comes with all of the hardware, fixings and components and other hardware required to build your cabin. No need for extra trips to the hardware store!
- Build instructions and support: Every cabin comes with comprehensive build instructions that include plans, illustrations, images and even video overviews. Plus, our team is always available by phone or email to help with any questions you have during assembly.
Windows: Function and Style
Every SheShed flatpack timber cabin comes with at least one window making it super easy to let the beautiful natural light in. And, depending on the cabin you choose, you might get multiple! Importantly, every window comes double glazed as standard! Some of our window options include:
- Top hung windows: These open from the top for ventilation.
- Casement windows: Hinged to swing outward and perfect for airflow and easy to clean.
- Tilt & Turn windows: These versatile windows can tilt open at the top or turn inward like a door.
- Fixed vented windows: These provide ventilation without opening fully.
Depending on your chosen model, your SheShed could include one, two or more windows to maximise light and airflow.
Doors: The Entry to Your SheShed
Every SheShed flatpack timber cabin comes with a door, and for most cabins there is the option to add an additional door/s if you’d like. The included door varies depending on your selected but options vary depending on your chosen cabin. Each door is also double glazed!
- Single door: Made from treated timber
- Double French doors: These can be standard or without lattice, giving your SheShed a modern or classic look.
- Wide double doors: Perfect for the larger cabins with easy access for furniture.
- Modern or solid timber doors: Some kits include these for another aesthetic.
