What comes in a SheShed flatpack timber cabin kit?
Most other sheds leave out key essentials that really make a difference in your cabin such as flooring, roofing, hardware and delivery. At SheShed we give you everything you need to create a complete and functional cabin, and it’s all included as standard, at no extra cost. Every SheShed kit comes with:
- Kiln-dried Nordic Spruce timber wallboards
- Kiln-dried Nordic Spruce timber floorboards (tongue and groove)
- Kiln-dried Nordic Spruce timber ceiling boards (tongue and groove)
- Asphalt shingle roof tiles or steel roofing (depending on the roof type)
- Double glazed window/s
- Double glazed door
- All hardware and components
- Full build instructions
- Ongoing build support
All these inclusions come with every one of our SheShed cabins, so you don’t have to worry about finding flooring or roofing, is all included in the price!
What are SheSheds made of?
A SheShed is made to be sturdy and durable. All our SheShed cabins are made from sustainably sourced, kiln-dried Nordic Spruce, a cold climate wood that grows slowly resulting in tighter annual rings. This creates wood that is more stable, durable and structurally consistent. To ensure low maintenance and long-term use most of our cabins are pressure treated to protect the wood.
The windows and doors of a SheShed cabin are double glazed with at least minimum 4mm thick glass, making them thick and durable for years to come!
Not only do we have the best quality timber and windows and doors, but we also believe the hardware is just as important. Every cabin kit comes with strong, premium quality hardware. Every door handle, hinge and everything else is complete weather resistant, so just like the rest of the cabin, it’s here to last.
Every cabin is fully finished without exposed screws, giving it the look and feel of a real room, not a backyard shed.
